He is extremely friendly, especially towards Holley Shiftwell, Lightning McQueen, and Sally Carrera. He has got the biggest heart more than anyone in town. Although he is not the smartest car in Radiator Springs, he makes up for it for his extreme heart and loyalty. He also likes to joke about different things, like saying Sally is his fiancée when she's really not. He is also beyond funny without realizing it. He unknowingly bestows wisdom upon others at times. He is also a very non-judgemental person.Īlthough he may seem silly and dim-witted, he has a vast encyclopedic knowledge of automobiles, engines, and towing, and is a fiercely loyal friend to anyone who is willing to give him a chance at true friendship. His selfless nature is most notably shown at the end of Cars 2 when he puts his own life in danger just to save his friends from being blown up by the c4 Bomb on his engine. He is a very selfless and loyal person to a fault, especially towards those closest to him. Like with the Screaming Banshee, Mater became so scared that he was ignorant to notice the impending danger of the monster at the end of Mater and the Ghostlight. And he often lives in his own little world when real danger or threat approaches. He gets scared really easily and usually panics when frightened. He can be extremely scared or skittish at times because of his sensitive nature. He also has true unconditional or agape love for others and just needs true friendship from other people. He’s deeply caring and thoughtful to everyone including his friends and family who he is the closest to. He’s a helpful person who is very unselfish and he just loves serving others out of selflessness and unconditional love. He has the biggest heart and is super sweet to a fault.

He is very optimistic and often at times forgetful. Mater speaks with a somewhat high-pitched thick rural Southern accent, has a whistle dry lisp to his voice, and frequently misspells words. John Lasseter describes Mater to be one of those special characters, as being fun and lovable, an "idiot savant about obscure little knowledge", as well as being a lot like the late Joe Ranft, saying: "You know I thought of Joe all through this. 3.7 Kinect Rush: A Disney/Pixar Adventure.

#CARS FAST AS LIGHTNING DJ PC#
Lightning and Fletcher are the only cars to appear in both the Xbox 360 version of Cars: The Video Game and the PC version of Cars: Mater-National Championship, but not use the same 3D model in both games.Lightning and Vince are the only cars who have a 100% confirmed horsepower.Lightning and Chick are the only Piston Cup Racers to have their numbers printed on their right taillight, while every other one either lacks it or has it on their left taillight. There also are some abilities he has normally, such as being able to picture cars he has not seen yet in his dreams and tilting. But he is shown to have had to be tutored these moves by older, wiser cars such as Doc, Fillmore, Sarge, and Mater. Lightning is shown to have a very large number of abilities, such as Powersliding, Boosting, Jumping, and even Driving Backwards. Changes like these also happen to most other main protagonists in their respective series. Lightning was originally (and in a sense in Cars: The Video Game) depicted as a self-centered "One-Man Show", but he has later changed and has friends other than his fans and Mack. After Cars 2, he was changed to his "WorldGrandPrix" design, losing his Rust-Eze decals and having his spoiler changed, although after Cars 3, he would mostly revert back to his normal self (although he still kept his real headlights), with a somewhat altered red and yellow design. Lightning's livery has changed throughout the series, in Cars: The Video Game, he is painted red with a yellow bolt, but in the next two games, he is a more maroon color with a design similar to Philip. There also was some questioning that Sarge might have been the main character instead of him, but no light ever came of this before the project faded into obscurity. His 3D model for the game was showcased, and he later appeared in the 25-second pre-alpha clip where he was being played as against an AI-controlled Luigi on a demo track. More about his roles can be read on the respective articles of the games, their events, and other characters.Īlthough Lightning is controlled in the first two tutorial races, he is actually then not playable again until he is unlocked as the final playable character. In all Cars: The Video Game, Cars: Mater-National Championship, and Cars: Race-O-Rama, he is the main character of the story mode.
